Girls Christmas Get Together

I love our Christmas Get Together! It is so great to be with all my favorite girls! For those of you... too many of you... who couldn't make it this year, Kellie was also at the Party, but.... we forgot to take a pic before she left! Boo! Oh, and you also missed out! Hopefully next time more of you will be able to make it. :) We had yummy food... plenty of it, and a great Pow Wow... as always! We always give each other the BEST ADVICE and council. I love it! I am so excited to get together with all of you again! Merry Christmas!

My Love Ralphy.

My sweet baby Ralphy passed away Thurday morning, Dec. 2nd. He was 9 years and 8 months to the day. He was born April 2nd 2001, my Senior Year of High School. He is my comfort and joy. He always made me happy. I always looked forward to his enthusiastic welcome every time I walked through my parents front door! He knew when I was sad, sick, or upset, and was always there to comfort me. Losing Ralphy was one of my biggest fears, and it is one of the hardest things I have gone through. He is a part of our Family, and his loss has been really hard for everyone. My heart is broken, and I am trying to find comfort and peace in his loss. I know it will take time. I miss him and love him with all of my heart. I know he will be the first one to greet me (enthusiastically :) ) when I pass. I pray he is happy, and working hard to bring comfort to others, that is what Josh told me he is doing. :) I believe it. He is so lovable and so special. Truly one of a kind. He will always be a special part of my heart. I miss him so much!

Family Pictures!

I was so happy that Andrea... Your Every Color Photography... was able to take some family pictures for us during Ian and Krystle's Wedding Festivities...which their wedding pics will blow you away! I'll see if I can post a few later. Thanks Andrea! We love them, and were in great need for updated pictures!

They are six weeks old, have had their first shots, and are ready to go! Three females and one male. There was a black puppy in the bunch, but he already found a home!

San Francisco!

After Ian and Krystle's Wedding Festivities we thought it would be fun to go to San Francisco for the first time! I tell you what, it is pretty amazing! It is a much bigger city than I had in my head for some reason. It reminded me a little of NY, but it was very different at the same time. The architecture is quit remarkable because the city is all hills and mounds. Seriously you would walk straight up for half a mile, walk 50 yards of so, then walk straight down for another half a mile, etc. I liked it though, because we are so used to the high altitude here in Utah, we were never really out of breathe! Awesome!

The first day we went to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Both are really spectacular! The bridge was beyond enormous and you marvel at the thought of how they built it.

China Town was interesting, but Josh and I accidentally walked through the wrong part of it. We went through more of a grocery area of China Town, but it is still so interesting, and honestly a little stomach turning to think about eating some of the things we saw. But the produce was dirt cheap!

Yummy Ice Cream all over San Fran, which of course I was all about! Love my Ben and Jerry's, and the Ghirardelli scoop shop was fantastic! We also spent a good amount of time out on the Piers (39, Fisherman's Wharf, etc). It is such a beautiful bay!

Of course I had to see all the shops. It's just one of my favorite things to do on vacation! San Fran was filled with plenty of fun shopping. Too bad I wasn't filled with plenty of money! Unions Square was a lot of fun. It was just a short walk from our hotel, and it was full of people hustling and bustling! We definitely need to go back to SF, there is so much more to see!

Ian and Krystle's Vineyard Wedding

Ian and Krystle's Wedding was absolutely BREATHE TAKING!! Seriously, it was just amazing! The Temple Ceremony was really spiritual and sweet, as well as the Ring Ceremony where Ian , and all of us, came to tears! It was so sweet! The Reception was incredible! Krystle and her family did an amazing job, and really took time and heart into every detail! Andrea was their photographer, and I just can't wait to see all the pictures. I was able to snap a few "artistic" shots after dinner, but no more because we were so involved in the celebration! It was truly an amazing day that I will never forget. I am so happy Ian found Krystle, she is the BEST! I love her so much! Her family is amazing, and they were so nice, welcoming, and loving to us all! It was a WONDERFUL day!

Park City with the Girls!

Last month I went up with my favorite gal pals to spend a night in Park City for some much needed R&R. It was so much fun! We stayed in a condo with plenty of beds (which Julie found for an amazing price), ate food, and talked the night away! The next day we went up to Main Street and went to some of the shops and had a delicious brunch! I had so much fun with the girls, and I can't wait to do it again!

Edit time!

So I finally had some time to edit! I've been super busy with Girls Camp, Youth Conference, and work! Phew! But now it's edit time! I absolutely love the lighting I caught in this little alley way. Happy 2nd Anniversary!!

Yesterday (August 9th) was our 2nd Anniversary! Crazy we have been married for 2 years already! I love my hubby so, so much! This had been the best 2 years of my life! We spent last night and all day today together just enjoying each others company! I am looking forward to growing old together with the love of my life! I love you Josh!
